Sports Career
In 1976, at the age of 10, he began his training in martial arts and the Nunchaku. Until the late 80s it was above all the techniques of Bruce Lee, who were meticulously rehearsed by him. Over decades, he developed his own twists, such as striking the Nunchaku out of one hand (previously both sticks are gripped with one hand).
Overall his program focuses on serious use, as Bruce Lee's philosophy has always proclaimed, and what Tong based his education on, more than 40 years ago.
In 1985, at the age of 19, he began teaching martial arts professionally.
Always conceived to help fighters to improve flexibility and speed in their actions,
he compiled well known exercises from the areas of sport, dance and martial arts,
into a effective new workout.
Mainly inspired by Bruce Lees philosophy ("to be open to new things; to cultivate what works"), he creates 动感APG® - the Anatomical Physical Gymnastics, which improves the health and function of the human body.
The 3 original programs were originally developed for martial arts actors. They include around 60 different punches, kicks and blocking techniques, as well as flowing movement sequences, known from dance.
动感APG® promotes the good posture of ballet.
